What is the Weird Route?

The Weird Route is Chapter 2’s darker alternate path, widely called the Snowgrave route. Where Chapter 2 normally plays as a lighthearted cyber adventure, the Weird Route turns it into something colder — it centres on Noelle’s Snowgrave spell and changes how key scenes play out. It’s DELTARUNE’s closest equivalent to a “genocide”-style run, and it leads into a different version of the chapter’s climactic encounter.

02

How to unlock Snowgrave

The route starts almost immediately in Chapter 2. Walkthroughs on IGN, Eurogamer and Neoseeker cover it step by step — the core steps are refusing Ralsei’s tutorial, freezing enemies with IceShock, and using Noelle’s Snowgrave spell in the right battles. It’s missable if you follow the normal path, so follow a guide if you want to see it.

03

What carries over

The Weird Route leaves marks on your save: dialogue in later chapters reacts to what Noelle was made to do, and it pairs naturally with the secret-boss hunt (see the secret bosses guide). Chapter 5 reportedly expands the alternate Weird Route further, so the choices you make here are worth keeping in mind as the story continues.
